When the Eagles website asked Philadelphia general manager Joe Banner about the trade that brought wide receiver Roy Williams to Dallas, the response was as stinging as it was surprising.
“I mean, they paid a lot,” said Banner. “I wouldn’t pay that much for a player like that.”
But then the Eagles’ approach is different than the Cowboys.
“Our goal is to win a Super Bowl, forget win a playoff game, which is something they are still working on,” Banner said.
Além disso, Banner finaliza dizendo que o objetivo do Eagles é vencer um Superbowl. E minimiza uma simples "vitória na pós-temporada" afirmando que é isso o que o Dallas ainda precisa trabalhar para conseguir.
Será que não seria apenas dor de cotovelo de quem falhou em trazer, não apenas o próprio Roy Williams, como também Randy Moss, Chad Jonhson, Anquan Boldin...
